Polly Nor

Self-acceptance, the female sexuality, and modern standards of beauty are just a few of the many social issues London based artist, Polly Nor conveys in her art work. Her obscure satirical styled drawings are focused on women and their demons, who are portrayed as a co-existing character throughout her illustrations. The demon symbolizes her true identity which she hides from others in the physical world. Her art features feelings of self-love, hate, anxiety, and how it may affect women. Her art ranges from drawn illustrations, digital illustrations, sculptures and installation work. Through the social media application, Instagram, Polly is able to easily exhibit her drawings to her followers. However, her physical artwork has been featured by clients such as Dr Marten, and Gucci. Just by the age of 27 her art work has also been seen at solo exhibitions, in London as well as museums in NYC.
