Jane LaFarge Hamill

Jane LaFarge Hamill is an American artist and painter best known for her oil paintings. She is a young, very accomplished artist whose known for her portraits. Hamill graduated from New York Academic of Art with her masters of Fine Arts in 2005. Since then she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in New York, Germany, and Croatia. In 2010, Hamill after a successful single exhibition in Italy had two more in New York and New Jersey. Today she is the founding director of The Project Room, an art space in NJ. Her work caught my attention on social media and the picture spoke differently from many other ones I see online. Hamill's work tends to include some sort of human traits which includes so many bright colors that make her work stand out. The picture on the bottom right stood out to me the most because of everything she shows in the human brain. In my opinion it represented all the positive and negative energy that may roam your brain. Her art differs from many other famous artist which makes it stand out more to our generation today.
