Josephine Taylor is an American artist who uses various types of diluted ink to paint stories or visuals on large canvases. From what I see from her paintings, I would characterize Ms.Taylor as a social or interpersonal painter. Most of her paintings focuses on the "psychological traces of childhood and adolescent memories"(2004 SECA Art Award exhibition). They say that art is a reflection of your reality and I found it cool that she was able to create paintings that not only reflect her story, but everyday social problems that we face in society.
